Why trust us to care for your pet?
Your dog is your fur baby, so you always want what’s best for them. We understand and treat your dogs like they’re our own!
We live in a spacious house in Whitby, ON where we usually take care of only 3 to 5 dogs at a time, along with our own (two small rescue Shih-Tzus and a Golden Retriever). During the holidays, that number can jump to 8 dogs – and watching the dynamics is very interesting. Many of the dogs we care for are repeat guests, so they meet each other often and became best paws! (pun intended)
In general, the dogs we take care of have a calm demeanor, and are small to medium in size, but we have experience looking after big dogs such as Retrievers, New Foundlands, Malamutes, Border Collies and a mix of dogs that adapt to our routine, including seniors, special needs and rescues.
We pride ourselves in providing customized service, so if your doggo likes to keep to themselves, we’ll make sure they have the alone time they need. If your pup is super social, they’ll get lots of playtime and fun with other fur babies.

Your pet will stay at our place, as if they were ours, cage-free and spoiled all day long.
Usually, we go on long walks in the morning and again by the end of the day. The walks happen individually, or up to 3 dogs at a time, so everyone can enjoy at their own pace, stopping to sniff if they like or at a more speedy stride, if that’s what they prefer. They also have access to a big fenced backyard throughout the day.
We take the doggos out to pup meetings with friends for socialization and play. Indoor lap dogs that don’t really like going out can stay in and relax with lots of cuddles, toys and beds (they love trying other dog beds!).
Other ways we make your furbaby feel at home:
- Doggies are free to roam and play or pick a spot to nap and relax anywhere in the house, which is set up for their comfort. We have many comfy dog beds around, toy baskets and water bowls, plus they have access to a big backyard with a beautiful lake view (all fenced).
- Dogs staying overnight are welcome to sleep in our bed with us (we love it when they do!)
- Missing your baby? We send daily updates with pictures and/or videos, plus we feature them on our social feed!
FREE meet, greet and play session
Before your fur baby’s stays with us, we schedule a meet-and-greet. This is so we can get to know each other, show you our residence, introduce our dogs, and do a behaviour assessment.
When necessary, we schedule another (free) half day for adaptation or for further behaviour/anxiety assessment. It also helps your pup get familiar with our home, our dogs and of course, us! We can also extend this introduction to night time. This is to safeguard the dogs self-being, guaranteeing personalized attention and a stress-free pawsitive experience for everyone.

* Daycare Conditions:
- Daycare is available only on weekdays
- Rates are for one dog. The second dog from the same family gets $5 off regular prices. Taxes are extra.
- Check-out time: by 7:30pm
- Late check-out: $5 fee will be charged for every 15 minutes late

- Check-out time: by 1pm.
If you pick-up after that time, another day of boarding will be charged.
If after 7:30pm on weekdays, or 1pm during weekends and holidays, pick-up will only be available on the next day.

Other services we provide
- Nail grinding – $25 + taxes
- Pick up/drop off – $5 each way for shorter distances or $15 each way within a 40km radius (for Boarding only). Further locations will be analyzed on a case-by-case basis.
Please note: Pick-up/Drop-off for Daycare is limited to a 12km radius. - Nurturing, adoption, welcome puppy, welcome rescue, and husbandry orientation – please consult us
- Taxi Dog – We can take you and your dog where you need to go, no more looking for rides that will cancel when they see you have a pup – prices under consultation
- Escorted vet visit (taking your pet to the vet or accompanying you to your appointment) – $45/hour, including pick up/drop off (25km radius) + taxes
- Administering oral/eye/ear meds/subcutaneous injections – $25/visit (15km radius) + taxes
- All services will have HST added to the invoice total.
